A Legacy…
Spanning Decades
The legacy of Jumac started in the year 1973, is all about an unwavering vision and commitment to create a smarter, better, stronger spinning ecosystem. Under the expert stewardship of our late founder Shyam Sundar Fogla, we made rapid strides through the initial years. With an ‘innovation first philosophy’ right at the core, we have steadily increased our global presence, catering to the requirements of top mills worldwide.
For five decades and counting, we have been the flagbearers of the proud legacy of Fogla Group – one of the leading business conglomerates in Eastern India.
Our journey over the years has been a truly remarkable one. From a modest start with the introduction of aluminium cans five decades ago, we have constantly gone from strength-to-strength, expanding our portfolio of material handling solutions, venturing into export markets, participating in the top textile sector events, and leveraging the very best of spinning technologies.
With a seamless combination of skill, speed and expertise, we deliver TRUST to our clientele. This has helped us become a globally recognised name in the international textile spinning sector.
The highest of standards. The finest of materials. The best of technology. Spinning cans from Jumac redefine quality, compatibility and value in yarn-making processes. These cans deliver reliability, assurance and performance in every phase of spinning - right from blow room, carding, combing, draw frame to roving. Important quality parameters like U% and CVm are totally retained by the Jumac Cans thus yarns produced are of premium quality.
Delicate yarn needs to be handled with expert care. Spinning cans from Jumac eliminate sliver breakage and sliver deflections, to ensure sliver parameters are retained to make perfect doffs possible.
Our spinning cans are fitted with anti-static plastic sheets, super mobile casters, high-stability springs and other robust spares & accessories. Manufactured in-house and with the very best components, our products are of unmatched excellence and help in delivering the finest-quality output.
Applications:
Carding
Also known as the ‘heart of the spinning process’, the carding phase is extremely important for smooth removal of all impurities, neps and other foreign materials present in the fibres. Our specialised carding cans, with anti-slippage top plate design, ensure proper sliver placement, handle the sliver optimally, and rule out chances of sliver displacement during high speed operations. This boosts overall mechanical efficiency and minimises sliver wastage.
Combing
Sliver obtained from the carding stage is refined further during combing. In this stage, short fibres, which are also known as comber noils, are removed – along with neps, impurities and other sliver inconsistencies, to ensure the production of cleaner, stronger, better yarns. Custom combing cans are essential to maintain the efficiency of this process.
Open-End
In open-end spinning, alternatively known as rotor spinning, a process to manufacture abrasion-resistant yarns is adopted. This spinning technique is powered by rotors, and fibres of short or medium-length are used. To facilitate the process of collecting the fibres, drawing off the yarn, and enhancing productivity, customised spinning cans are required.
Drawframe
Post the combing stage, the sliver obtained from the fibres have to be carefully doubled, leveled and blended. This is done with the drawframe machine in spinning mills. During this stage, the final sliver irregularities – along with the remaining impurities – are removed too. To ensure maximum drawframing efficiency, using custom breaker drawframe cans is necessary.
Roving
To make the sliver sized and appropriate for the final stage, the linear density has to be brought down through drafting. But, the strands obtained from the draw frame need to be brought together, eliminating looseness and ensuring the right twist count. That’s where roving cans prove to be of paramount importance.
High-Quality Trolleys
All our trolleys ensure seamless steaming and related processes for
sliver, yarns, fabric, bobbins & more. They are designed as per
precise space and sliver loading requirements. The high-quality
caster wheels, spring-loaded bottoms and other key components
add to the overall efficiency factor.
