SYMTECH thanks all of the individuals who visited our suppliers during the ATME-I-2004 exhibition held <date month="9" day="13" year="2004">September 13-17, 2004</date>.   We appreciate the many different customers who stopped by to discuss new opportunities and supplier machinery developments.  Exhibitions are always a welcome opportunity to see many friends and acquaintances.  

Twenty two (22) SYMTECH machinery suppliers exhibited at ATME-I-2004 (see ATME Supplier List).  Consuming one of the largest single areas of the ATME exhibit, these suppliers covered all segments of the industry including spinning, winding, filament, warp preparation, weaving, dyeing (yarn and fabrics), finishing, printing, coating and laminating.  All suppliers are leading textile machinery and equipment companies and represented seven (7) different countries of origin.  Supplier representatives were present at each stand. 

Visiting an exhibition such as the ATME provides an opportunity to review the products and developments which are available or coming in the future to provide a benefit to the operating mill.  A number of our suppliers were emphasizing equipment which produced an innovative new product of interest to the textile buyer.  This market oriented approach is vital to the continuation of the textile industry in the markets served by SYMTECH.

We believe the ATME exhibition to be a success.  While the number of visitors was not as high as in past ATME’s, the visitors who did attend were ready to discuss projects which they see as important to their continued operations.  This continued planning for the future by our customers is important to the future of each of us, mill customer, machinery supplier, and SYMTECH.
